1- Employer: The sole party responsible for advertising, financing, and providing the site and essential data.
2- Contractor: The executor responsible for quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
3- Engineer: The employer’s representative responsible for contract management, issuing instructions, and approving payments.
4- Contract: The set of documents that governs the conformity of the following categories: Letter of Offer, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Specifications, Drawings, and Applications.
5- Specifications: Those not designated for the works.
6- Drawings: Approved technical drawings that specify the execution details.
7- Bill of Quantities (BOQ): A list of quantities and prices upon which payments and valuations are based.
8- Completion Time: The significant time period, which may be extended under specific conditions.
9- Change: Any modification to the scope issued by the engineer in accordance with established procedures. 10- Claim – Claim: A claim that is required to be submitted by him or the employer to obtain compensation or money.
